Why repeat? Oh yeah, you go through shampoo faster and have to buy more.

That's politics this year. The same old, same old, same old crap. And it just keeps repeating...

Everyone seems to forget why there was/is a recession. And so no one has a good solution, just the same old crap.

Republicans seem to think the richest people should keep their tax cuts because they (the super rich) are the ones who create jobs.

Well, these super rich people have been getting these tax cuts for ten years, and we've lost millions of jobs during that time. I'm thinking extending the cuts for them will do nothing. At best.

I haven't gotten a raise during the two plus years I've been at my current job. And they raised health insurance premiums so much (almost 1000%...I'm not kidding) I can't afford it. Thanks rich people! Here's millions in tax breaks for your great work.

Democrats want more time. More time for the health care thing to kick in. More time to finish wars they didn't start. More time in charge.

I'm not saying good things haven't happened in the last two years, but it's really hard to see through the haze. I know everyone wants to keep their job right now, but that's all you're saying. Let me keep my job, sometime all of this good stuff will trickle down.

Isn't it kind of insulting to be the at the bottom of the trickle down?

And both sides are throwing up tons of crap to distract us from what's really important. I guess that disappoints me most of all. And makes me stop watching local TV stations.

I'm gonna vote, don't get me wrong. And it's not just so I can leave work early that day. But that seems to be my one silver lining this year.

If I was living in California, I'd vote for pot. Here in New Mexico, we can just vote for the gubernatorial candidate who won't try to shut down the Medical Marijuana program.

But at least our collective candidates aren't wacked out of their minds.

You know someone is in trouble when she has to tell people she's not a witch. Because, y'know, if she was a witch, she wouldn't be losing the race.

Even the rather conservative Albuquerque Journal chastises the shrillness of it all, and some of the farther reaching statements both sides have been shouting. Of course, we also know who they are going to endorse, too. So it's more like a slap than a fist.

Two and a half weeks to go. Keep your pants on, everyone.
