Songs about fucking (impregnating Iraq with democracy)
by Matt Worley

At first, the fuck feels good.

90% of the country was waving the flag and holding their collective balls as we plunged into the oil-moist cunt of Iraq. It was hard and fast with no resistance. Lubed up with no choice in the matter, she spread and let us push with everything we had. Oh my god, the orgiastic fantasticness of it all. Even as we kept it up, we declared victory. We declared hard fucking over after a month or so. But we kept fucking hard, nonetheless, because she never said no. Of course, weıd cut her head off by then, so she had nothing to say. Others had to say no for her.

And, as we all know, it doesnıt matter what the friends say. Friends are always outside the emotion of it all, so they can look at it with a clear head. But Iraq had no head, she just had her legs spread and trembling. Her friends may have shouted from outside the dorm room door, but we didnıt listen. And we kept it up.

No we wonıt stop, just like hip hop, and it gets deeper and worn and bloodier every day.

Bush and his administration cronies have said no to ³pulling out² and ³early withdrawal² approximately 397 times in the last few weeks (unofficial count, it could be more). They are against this form of political birth control. Especially when it comes to wayward countries who spread their legs to anyone who woos them for a few minutes. We must impregnate Iraq with Democracy, and weıre gonna keep fucking her until she bears us a suitable heir.

Almost three years and counting. We canıt even feel it anymore. Itıs not good fucking, but itıs getting laid. So we wonıt stop because we, as a nation and government, said ³yes² three years ago. We gave them permission and they ran with it. They made up reasons and forgot about making a plan when they saw the legs opening and plunged in like a mad dog.

This is ugly. This is offensive. This is the kind of stuff I try to stay away from. We all do. We shield our eyes and hold our hands over our ears and start shouting when the walls are shaking. When itıs really bad, we think about employee pricing. We think about zero down and nothing to pay till 2022. We think about all the things that look bling bling and hope they will make us happy. Make us not hear the nasty things happening in the next room. If I get a new iPod, I wonıt have to listen to this anymore.

We should really stop because the social diseases from all this fucking is getting out of hand. Bombs are exploding everywhere like herpes. Leaders and lawyers in Iraq are getting killed by the syphilitic insurgents. Women and children are crying, trying to figure out how to help their sister, whoıs been tied down and beheaded. And our government keeps thinking, if we keep fucking, sheıll grow another head. Sheıll somehow know how to control herself and stop all this rambunctious behavior. Thisıll teach her. Thisıll show her. Bad, bad Iraq. You have to take this for your own good. Take our pure democratic semen and bear us the child weıve always wanted.

What has all this fucking with Iraq gotten us? Close to 2200 US military dead. Tens of thousands wounded. A country in shambles, trying to figure out who they are. And Iım not just talking about Iraq.

On September 10, 2001, there were 16 people on the TSA no fly list. There are now 80,000. Did we just not know about them before? Or is this what weıve really birthed? We have pushed out more terrorists to fight, because we needed someone to fight. But weıve also made government bigger, which means we have to have phantom problems. Probably at least 70,000 phantom flight risk problems, if not more.

In New Orleans, over three months after the devastation, there is one school open. Four out of five residents do not live there. We didnıt fight a war there, we just had to clean it up. If we canıt help our own people, how can we help people halfway around the world?

We canıt go back three years and whisper to everyone what will come to pass. There is no ghost of warsı past to bring wisdom to the warmongers. But I still have to wonder.

I wonder what this country would be now if we spent $250 billion on schools. Or universal healthcare. I wonder what the families of those 2200 soldiers would be feeling now, if they never lost their sons, daughters, husbands, wives, moms and dads. Would they be feeling bad because they hadnıt sacrificed loved ones for the possibility of new democratic state in Iraq?

Do you feel bad for not sacrificing anything?

Four years since the day we must never forget, and we want to renew a ³patriot² act that attacks its own citizens. We still want to keep our tax cuts, because someone else will pay for all of this. And we still want to keep fucking this war torn gash halfway around the world.

So we all sit around, talking loud, because thereıs some ugly fucking going on in the next room. Some of us hated that asshole boyfriend from the start, but more of us have had to realize, over time, that heıs no good for her. And some of us are thinking itıs about damn time dad went to the shed and got his shotgun.

Weıd still have to clean up the mess, but at least weıd have made a stand and turned the damn corner. If there is even a corner to turn anymore.
