| 10/1/26: Tightly wild Federico Bosco is an Argentinian producer who seems utterly incapable of committing to the bit. This seven-track "album" clocks in at less than fifteen minutes, and each piece bounds fearlessly into new sounds.
The biggest musical pots he takes from are electronic (especially big beat) and jazz, though he messes with pretty much every piece of his songs. The sax may be dirty and the beats clean--or vice-versa. There aren't lyrics as such, just a few sampled bits. And again, everything clocks in under three minutes, and often under two. Consider it a palate-cleanser, or perhaps throw all of his mini albums in the hopper and hit random. Sequencing is irrelevant; Bosco shifts gears effortlessly and entertains endlessly. Short attention span theater for those who can handle a universe of sound. | |
