| 5/14/26: Rare idle If this is Octo's idea of an idyll, I'd hate to hear what something more intense might be. Correction: I'd love to hear what something more intense might be. And live I imagine the band might sonically decimate anything that's not blast shielded.
Because, as is easy to hear, Octo doesn't give a shit what you think. It's rare to hear this much diffidence in such a thundering, precise recitation of the evidence. That, of course, simply increases the charm immensely. Yes, in many ways this is a restatement of facts already given. Octo is "merely" purveying a venerable older sound, and the fact that it feels fresh and alive is just one of the reasons I'm excited. The throb will take your brain to new heights. Believe it. | |
