11/3/25:
In touch

Kinda house-y, kinda techno, kinda mumble-core rap, Dennis Free incorporates a wide array of ideas into his straightforward electronic stuff. Eminently danceable and almost criminally addictive, these songs use inviting beats and bass to weave together their various elements into hypnotically thrilling music.

Dennis Free
Lost Telemetry EP
(self-released)

There may be only five songs here, but they blip and burble with the power of many more. Free is creative even in his beat manipulation, varying tempos and sounds within his upbeat house frames. Yes, it's pretty much impossible to sit still when this is played, but Free provides plenty of food for thought within his grooves.

Part of that is his willingness to bring in a plethora of electronic dance sounds. Nothing predominates, except perhaps his own ethos. Music is a platform for expression, and Free takes full advantage.

Fun, for the first part. Extremely creative for the second. Dennis Free is a mixmaster, pouring out his concoctions to a thirsty audience. May the shaker never run dry.
