7/3/25: Remains of the day Café del Mar is best known for its many compilations of electronic fare enjoyed at Ibiza. Somehow, this is the first non-compilation it has issued. But there's a reason the tradition has been broken.
There should be no fretting. The quality and complexity of sound remains high, and these pieces wander and meander while remaining tethered. The songs never lose shape, even as they shift from one phase of consciousness to another. In these days of blistering heat and an increasingly penetrating sun, there is always room to celebrate a sunset and the prospect of a grand evening. Pig & Dan set that table and then slide ever so stylishly into the waves. Relax. You're only losing your mind.
