1/23/25: More dish with your swish Admit it: Looking at the band name and album title, you probably think you have a good idea of what these Swedes sound like. Ah, but then you look at the label, and that certainty twists into a question mark. And yes, then you're totally correct.
Straight from the 90s (those glam metal lead licks simply glisten) and blasting into today, Morlocks have no use for preset notions. Rather, this trio has hacked and crafted some of the stickiest industrial dance music in some time. Combine Slash's guitar, Lords of Acid and your favorite EBM and you might be getting close. Or maybe not. These songs are silly ("March of the Goblins", anyone?) and totally over-the-top. That breathless approach is the only way to even attempt something as preposterous as this. Morlocks not only succeed; they have raised the bar. The metal-industrial complex has a new standard-bearer. Wade in and bear witness.
